Linear Cutter 55/75 mm and Selectable Cartridge/reloads1

The LINEAR CUTTER 55/75 MM is a sterile, single patient use instrument used in open surgical procedures.
The instrument delivers six staggered rows of staples, three on either side of the cut line. The staple height is selectable to accommodate various tissue thicknesses using one cartridge/reload. The selectable staple height feature provides the ability to use one cartridge/reload to form staples with closed staple heights of 1.5 mm, 1.8 mm, or 2.0 mm.

The instrument has a safety lock-out feature that is designed to prevent it from firing if 1) no cartridge/reload is loaded or 2) a used cartridge/reload is loaded. The instrument is shipped without a cartridge/reload loaded into it. The cartridge/reload must be loaded prior to use.

The cartridge/reload contains six rows of staples with the knife integrated in the cartridge/reload.
A staple retaining cap on the cartridge/reload protects the staples during shipping and transportation.

The 55 mm instrument creates a 61 mm staple line and a 58 mm cut line.
The 75 mm instrument creates a 81 mm staple line and a 78 mm cut line.

The LINEAR CUTTER 55/75 MM is only compatible with the LINEAR CUTTER 55/75 MM selectable cartridges/reloads.
